Authorities did not announce the specific fine, but the penalty for the first offense is from 5 to 10 million VND, and for the second offense is from 10 to 20 million VND.
"If Ms. Phuong re-offends or continues to commit administrative violations, the Department will coordinate with the city police and relevant agencies to handle aggravating circumstances according to regulations," said a representative of the management agency.
Previously, the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City coordinated with the Department of Internal Political Security (PA03) - Ho Chi Minh City Police, Department of Culture and Sports - invited Phuong Le (aka Le Thi Hau Phuong) to work on information provision activities on social network accounts.
