Mr. Trinh Thanh Vu, Chairman of the Literature and Arts Association, delivered a concluding speech at the conference.
At the conference to summarize activities in 2024 and propose directions for activities in 2025, held on the afternoon of January 16, Mr. Le Minh Nhut, Vice President of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association, informed: Last year, the Literature and Arts Association won many awards in various fields, notably 1 A prize at the National Music Festival (held in Ninh Binh province), Bronze Medal at the Mekong Delta Art Photography Festival, 1 Gold Medal and 1 Silver Medal at the National Cai Luong Festival in 2024... Thereby affirming the contribution of Ca Mau artists to the national culture and arts. The association's Literature and Arts Magazine continues to publish 6 issues, with a print run of 4,400 copies, serving readers who love culture and arts.
Last year, the Fine Arts Association participated in the 29th Mekong Delta Fine Arts Exhibition in Kien Giang with 36 works by 22 authors, won 1 Second Prize, 1 Encouragement Prize and 1 work was selected to introduce to the Fine Arts Festival of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations in 2024.
At the conference, many discussions of the representatives of the branches revolved around organizing creative camps, supporting artists, and expanding exchange and cooperation activities with other provinces, cultural and artistic organizations in the province and the region. Some proposals also focused on organizing specialized cultural and artistic events of a thematic nature, in order to improve the quality of creation and promote the sustainable development of the local literary and artistic movement.

Concluding the conference, Mr. Trinh Thanh Vu, Chairman of the Association of Literature and Arts, emphasized the activities that the association achieved in the past year, highly appreciated the efforts of its members in developing literary and artistic genres, as well as the contribution of the Provincial Literature and Arts Magazine in promoting local culture. Mr. Trinh Thanh Vu affirmed that this is the result of solidarity and close cooperation among the members of the association. He hoped that the members would continue to promote the spirit of creativity, solidarity, innovation and complete their tasks well in 2025.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Doan, Deputy Head of the Department of Culture and Arts, Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee, awarded the Medal "For the cause of Party building and organization work" to Mr. Trinh Thanh Vu.
The Ca Mau Provincial Literature and Arts Association has set out key tasks for 2025, such as: focusing on discovering and nurturing young talents in the fields of literature and arts, creating conditions for members to develop and contribute to the community. Continuing to develop the Ca Mau Literature and Arts Magazine to ensure the quantity and quality of content, better serving the needs of readers. Continuing to participate in major competitions nationwide, while improving the quality of the association's competitive activities, making an important contribution to the development of the province's culture and arts.
