The "Lighting up the Countryside" route in Phu Thanh hamlet has just been completed and put into use, with a length of more than 2 km, passing through 30 households (including 4 households of veteran members), costing over 20 million VND. Of which, the Commune Veterans Association mobilized support of 7 million VND, the remaining amount was mobilized by the Hamlet Veterans Association to mobilize people on the route to voluntarily contribute to the implementation.
The "Lighting up the Countryside" route in Phu Thanh hamlet has just been completed and put into use, contributing to ensuring security, order and traffic safety.
Mrs. Phan Thi Vui, 81 years old, a veteran member of Phu Thanh hamlet, happily said: "Now that there is a 3 meter wide road, I voluntarily installed lights to make the road brighter and easier to travel."
Ms. Le Cam Tu, 36 years old, Phu Thanh hamlet, excitedly said: "Before, when there was no lighting system, traveling at night was very inconvenient. Since the project "Lighting up the countryside roads" was implemented, people feel secure when going out at night."
Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuyen, Secretary of Phu Thanh Hamlet Party Cell, said: “When the “Lighting up the Countryside Road” route was deployed, the people on the route enthusiastically responded. Since the street lights were installed, not only have they created favorable conditions for traffic at night, but on holidays and Tet, the national flag has been hung straight, creating a solemn, exciting, and united atmosphere in the community, making the rural landscape brighter and more beautiful.”
According to Mr. Nguyen Truong Son, Vice Chairman of Phu My Commune People's Committee, the concrete road in Kenh Nam, Phu Thanh Hamlet, 3m wide, 2,000m long, with a construction cost of 3.7 billion VND invested by the province, was completed at the end of 2024, and people were very excited. Since then, the Party Committee and the Commune People's Committee have directed the implementation of the "Lighting up the Countryside Road" road to serve the needs of the people. After launching, the people on the road were very supportive, contributing money and working days to implement it.
“Rural roads and alleys are lit up, making it convenient for people to travel, exercise, and children to play. The light from this model will also help to reduce social evils, thereby building a beautiful and peaceful rural life.
