The Hanoi City People's Committee has a document on the issuance of a Resolution regulating tuition fees and tuition exemption compensation levels for preschool and primary school students in the area for the 2025-2026 school year.

The tuition fee for the 2025-2026 school year of private preschools and general education institutions is at least 550,000 VND/month at preschool level.

Specifically, Nang Ban Mai Kindergarten and Thien Than Nho Kindergarten in Hoa Phu Commune have the lowest tuition fee of 550,000 VND/student/month. At this level, the highest tuition fee is up to 63.3 million VND/student/month (Dwight Hanoi Kindergarten - Dinh Cong Ward).

Private preschools in Hanoi have the lowest tuition fee of 550 thousand VND/month.

The lowest tuition fee for primary school students is 2 million VND/student/month (Nguyen Khuyen Primary School - An Khanh Commune). The highest tuition fee at a private primary school is 78.6 million VND/student/month (Dwight Hanoi Primary School - Dinh Cong Ward).

Tuition fees for secondary school students range from 2 million VND/student/month (IVS Primary and Secondary School - Thanh Oai Commune); the highest fee is up to 89.1 million VND/student/month (Dwight Hanoi Secondary and High School - Dinh Cong Ward).

The lowest tuition fee for high school students is 500,000 VND/student/month (Nguyen Truc High School); the highest tuition fee is nearly 95.5 million VND/student/month (Dwight Hanoi Middle and High School - Dinh Cong ward).

The Hanoi People's Committee plans to propose a tuition support level of 155,000 VND/student/month for 5-year-old preschool children, primary and secondary school students; 217,000 VND/student/month for preschool children (excluding 5-year-old preschool children) and high school students.

Implementing the policy of free tuition for preschool children and high school students according to regulations has increased the number of subjects exempted from tuition fees for high school students and preschool children.

The total estimated budget for implementing the tuition support policy for preschools, general education institutions, and private educational institutions implementing general education programs in Hanoi for the 2025-2026 school year is about VND 525.8 billion.

According to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, in the 2025-2026 school year, Hanoi will have about 2,954 educational establishments with nearly 2.3 million students. Of which, public preschool and general education establishments will have 2,298 establishments with nearly 2 million students; private educational establishments will have about 602 establishments with about 318,500 students.
