Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics supports people in localities affected by floods

On the morning of November 24, in Hanoi, the Party Committee and Board of Directors of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics organized a ceremony to launch support for people in localities affected by floods. This is the third time the academy has launched a campaign to support people in localities affected by floods in recent months.

Also attending were comrade Doan Minh Huan, member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; comrades in the Party Committee, Board of Directors, and a large number of cadres, civil servants, public employees, lecturers and students studying and working at the academy.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang shared: Recently, in the face of the exceptionally heavy and prolonged rain and storms, causing severe floods and landslides in many localities, especially in the provinces of Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai and Lam Dong, the Politburo, the Secretariat, directly General Secretary To Lam, the Standing member of the Secretariat, have focused their efforts on leadership and direction; assigned comrades in the Politburo and Secretariat to work with localities to urgently carry out relief work and overcome the consequences caused by floods.

Responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support the people of the Central and Central Highlands regions who suffered damage caused by floods, with the spirit of mutual love and affection, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang called on all cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and students studying and working at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics to support and accompany the people of the whole country to participate in supporting and helping the people of localities affected by floods to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives and production.
