"Brand launch pad" for Vietnamese startups

Amidst the bustling space of more than 130,000 m² of the 1st Autumn Fair - 2025, besides the brands familiar to consumers, the innovation and startup area became a "new touch point" attracting the attention of many visitors, investors and the press.

According to the Organizing Committee, this year's fair gathered nearly 2,500 domestic and international businesses and organizations with more than 3,000 booths, attracting about 100,000 visitors per day. The total value of transactions, contracts and memorandums of understanding signed reached nearly 5,000 billion VND, showing the strong appeal of the Vietnamese goods market.

The technology and innovation area at the 2025 Autumn Fair is not only attractive because of the presence of big brands but also because of the dynamism and professionalism of Vietnamese startups. The technology booths all show a serious investment in user experience. Many startups have not hesitated to turn their booths into miniature "mini-studios" or "labs", where visitors can touch, try and directly feel the core value of the product. This creates a big difference compared to the traditional display model.

Young people enjoy experiencing technology booths

It can be seen that in that vibrant picture, Vietnamese startups have asserted themselves as an essential part of the new business ecosystem. "The first Autumn Fair - 2025 is an opportunity for GoChek to promote its brand image and introduce the latest technology ecosystem closer to users. Participating in this fair is part of its brand building strategy, and at the same time is a "stepping stone to upgrade" in customer awareness of Vietnamese technology products," said a representative of GoChek.

At the same time, according to GoChek representative, understanding the psychology of consumers who love real-life experiences, GoChek has turned the fair space into a complex of diverse technology experiences. The booth is divided into specialized areas such as creative studios, simulating professional studios, where visitors are invited to directly record and test the quality of equipment under the guidance of a team of experts, or an exciting music stage, creating opportunities for customers to sing and experience products in a real performance environment. In addition, the Interactive Challenge Box is an interesting music game area, helping to attract visitors to participate, creating spread and joy... transforming the booth from a static display space to a direct interactive space, where customers can personally verify and build trust in Vietnamese technology brands.

Mr. Tran Quoc Khanh, a freelance content creator from Ho Chi Minh City, after experiencing the booths in the technology and innovation area, shared that, in general, the technology booths at this year's fair have been successful in transforming from a promotional space to an interactive and sales space based on trust and real-life experience.

A large number of people, especially young people, lined up to participate in technology experiences.

"I create content on digital platforms so I am passionate about learning about technology products. At first, I was quite skeptical about Vietnamese technology products, but after testing them here, I was really surprised. Not only GoChek, many other technology booths also invested very carefully. The fact that startups create a professional experience space right at the fair is a big plus, helping me and many others have a more intuitive view and trust in Vietnamese products. I decided to buy products at GoChek right away because there is no experience more convincing than verifying the quality yourself," Mr. Khanh emphasized.

Many customers queuing up to experience the booths in the technology and innovation area shared the same opinion that the fair is an extremely effective approach channel for startups. Not only a place to display products, the fair is also a space for direct experience, helping brands listen to real feedback from consumers, verify product quality and grasp new market trends.

"What impressed us most was the vibrant atmosphere and the large number of visitors, not only young people who love technology and content creation, but also many older people interested in support solutions. The organization was carried out professionally and scientifically, making it easier to visit, connect and experience. In particular, the presence of many creative and energetic young startups also created an inspiring technology picture, bringing many opportunities for cooperation and learning," said Mr. Nguyen Tien Lich, a retired official who used to work at the Ministry of Science and Technology .

The fair is an opportunity for them to introduce environmentally friendly products.

Not only technology startups, many young businesses in the field of green products, organic agriculture, sustainable fashion, etc. also receive special attention from consumers and distributors. Talking to reporters, some representatives of businesses producing and trading biodegradable packaging said that many large businesses have researched and discussed cooperation in supply at the fair. The fair is an opportunity for them to introduce environmentally friendly products, and at the same time tell the story of sustainable development of Vietnamese businesses to domestic and foreign customers.

From fair to long-term journey

From a promotional event, the 2025 Autumn Fair is becoming a real playground for startups wanting to expand their market, creating a space for direct connection between startups, distributors, retailers and investors.

According to the Organizing Committee, thousands of trade deals and contract signings and memorandums of understanding took place during the 10-day fair. Many startups with technology products, smart agriculture, and green consumption have attracted the attention of domestic and foreign partners, who are looking for cooperation opportunities.

One good booth can replace a year of marketing.

Representatives of several startups, technology-based businesses, and clean agricultural businesses said they have connected with many new distribution partners and received job offers from foreign investment funds. Previously, to approach international investors, one had to go through many rounds of incubation programs. But at the fair, domestic and foreign businesses directly came to the booths to see products, discuss and sign cooperation agreements.

"A good booth can replace a whole year of marketing. Customers get to experience it, startups get to listen and adjust their development strategies more flexibly," a representative of a startup excitedly shared.

This year’s event also attracted many international business delegations from Japan, South Korea, Singapore, New Zealand and the European Union. Green, innovative products from Vietnamese startups are assessed to have high potential to participate in the global supply chain, especially in the fields of bio-packaging, technology agriculture and digital solutions.

According to experts, the success of startups at the fair comes not only from the products, but also from the way they prepare, communicate and interact with the market. Many young businesses have combined physical display and online sales, organizing livestreams right at the booth, attracting thousands of views per session. This not only helps increase immediate revenue, but also spreads the brand strongly in the digital space. "There are many startups that know how to take advantage of the power of digital media to amplify promotional effectiveness. The fair is not only a place to sell products, but also a place to practice modern market access skills for young businesses," said a representative of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade.

From a management perspective, the Ministry of Industry and Trade highly appreciates the innovative and creative spirit of Vietnamese startups in the new trade promotion ecosystem. Startups are contributing to enriching the domestic market, creating more choices for consumers and promoting the consumption of Vietnamese products.

The 2025 Autumn Fair has proven that startups are no longer left out of the big commercial game. Their presence, even with just a small booth, is enough to make a difference, spreading the creative spirit and aspirations of Vietnamese businesses.

For startups, each fair is not only a sales opportunity, but also a practical business lesson, how to listen to customers, position the brand and build sustainable relationships. From there, young businesses not only find customers, but also find themselves on the journey towards green, sustainable development and international integration./.
