Press release on the second working day and closing of the 14th Central Conference

VTV.vn - On the morning of November 6, the 14th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee entered its second working day and closed.

On behalf of the Politburo , Comrade Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member and Prime Minister, chaired the discussion; Comrade Tran Thanh Man, Politburo member and Chairman of the National Assembly, chaired the closing session.

The Central Committee and delegates worked at the Hall, discussing the contents the Central Committee discussed in the afternoon group on November 5.

Through the discussion sessions, 220 Central Committee opinions were contributed to the draft Report reviewing the leadership and direction of the 13th Party Central Committee to be submitted to the 14th National Congress; the draft Report summarizing the implementation of the Working Regulations of the 13th Party Central Committee, Politburo and Secretariat; the draft Report summarizing the implementation of the Working Regulations of the 13th Party Central Committee's Inspection Commission; and the Report summarizing the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the 12th Party Central Committee "Some issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently".

The Politburo met to receive and explain the Central Committee's comments, asked for the Central Committee's opinions on the above contents and approved the Resolution of the 14th Central Committee Conference. General Secretary To Lam delivered the closing speech of the Conference.

The Party Central Committee calls on the entire Party, people and army to promote the tradition of patriotism, solidarity and unity, strive and resolve to successfully implement the socio-economic development tasks in 2025 and the targets and tasks of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; promote and improve the effectiveness of patriotic emulation movements and successfully complete preparations for the successful organization of the 14th National Party Congress.
