Comprehensive connection: Business – consumer – international

The 2025 Autumn Fair, with more than 3,000 booths, has become the largest trade event in Vietnam to date, gathering over 2,500 organizations and businesses both domestically and internationally. This is a rare opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to introduce products, connect with partners, and at the same time create a strong boost for domestic consumption in the last quarter of the year.

According to the Organizing Committee, all 34 provinces, cities, ministries, branches and many corporations and general companies participated, bringing a diverse picture of industries: heavy industry, light industry, agriculture , food processing, services, consumer goods, science - technology and innovation. This event is a place to gather high-quality OCOP products and deeply processed agricultural products, meeting export standards, affirming efforts to enhance the value of national brands.

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan said that the items brought to the 2025 Autumn Fair must be typical products, with quality control, while ensuring food safety and hygiene, creating a good experience for visitors. This commitment not only enhances the prestige of the event but also creates strong trust for consumers and international partners.

Introducing the 2025 Autumn Fair, Director of the Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade) Vu Ba Phu added that the Fair not only connects businesses with consumers but also expands export opportunities. Vietnamese products have the opportunity to be introduced directly to international importers, thereby promoting trade and increasing export value, especially in the context of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) being strongly implemented.

The Autumn Fair 2025 is expected to create a ripple effect in domestic consumption, contributing to achieving the economic growth target of over 8% in 2025. With a record capacity and scale, the event attracts hundreds of thousands of international visitors, importers and investors. More than 50 Indian businesses have expressed interest, especially in the fields of agriculture, food processing, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, machinery, information technology, education and tourism, demonstrating the cross-border appeal of the event.

In addition, the event also creates a playground for small and medium-sized brands, helping them build their brands, test products and receive direct feedback from customers. The display areas by industry and region are designed in a synchronous and modern way, bringing a convenient and attractive shopping experience.

Mr. Dang Trung Doan - Owner of Dang Gia Agarwood brand (Tu Bong - Khanh Hoa), a businessman whose products were introduced at the 80th Anniversary of National Achievements Exhibition shared: "National-scale fairs like this are the most effective trade promotion channel for regional specialty products. We not only sell products but also build brand stories, demonstrating our ability to meet strict standards of quality and traceability, prerequisites to conquer high-end markets like Europe and the US."

Towards sustainable economic growth

Economic experts assess that large fairs like Autumn 2025 are an important "lever" in boosting aggregate demand, while supporting businesses to maintain production and business activities after economic fluctuations. When consumers have a convenient shopping experience, increased spending will lead to revenue and profits for businesses, thereby contributing to improving state budget revenue.

In terms of macro policy, the organization of the Autumn Fair 2025 is a testament to the Government's determination to strengthen internal strength, using the market of 100 million people as a launching pad for growth. The event not only focuses on sales but is also a place where state management agencies grasp consumption trends, thereby promptly introducing policies to support production and distribution.

According to Mr. Phu, the most important goal of the Fair is not only the total transaction value, but also the level of sustainable supply chain connectivity and promoting digital transformation in distribution. The Fair is an opportunity for large distributors to find stable, quality supplies from small and medium-sized manufacturers, reducing intermediaries, thereby reducing costs to consumers. This is a key factor to control inflation and ensure social security.

With activities connecting businesses - suppliers - customers, the 2025 Autumn Fair aims to form a leading trade, investment and consumption promotion center in Southeast Asia. This is considered a macroeconomic "boost", helping Vietnam effectively take advantage of the open market policy, boost import and export, and at the same time improve the competitiveness of Vietnamese products in the international market./.
