On the morning of December 16th, at Nguyen Dinh Chieu Primary and Secondary School (Vinh Tuy Ward, Hanoi ), the Hanoi Association for the Relief of Disabled Children held a conference to summarize its work in 2025 and outline its plans and tasks for 2026.

The year 2025 marks a quarter-century of stable, effective operation and development of the Hanoi Association for the Relief of Disabled Children, affirming its position within the city's social and charitable organizations. Despite facing numerous challenges such as a vast geographical area, over 12,000 disabled children in need of support, and a lack of a grassroots organizational system, the Association has made exceptional efforts and achieved outstanding results.

It is estimated that in the first 11 months of 2025, the Association has raised over 4 billion VND in cash and in-kind donations (converted equivalent) (potentially reaching over 4.5 billion VND by the end of the year). This resource is sustained by traditional projects such as the "Progress" Project (Blue Dragon Children's Organization - Australia) and the Phuong Liet Project (European-Asian-French Brotherhood Association), along with assistance from organizations such as Orion-Vina Food Co., Ltd., the Vietnamese Zen Music Business Community, and Huong Giang International Fashion Joint Stock Company.

Regarding healthcare and specialized education , the Association has collaborated with the Hanoi Rehabilitation Hospital to maintain a regular, free clinic and organize preliminary examinations, consultations, and gift-giving for over 400 disabled children at four institutions: Binh Minh Primary School, Hy Vong High School - Long Bien, Thanh Tri School for Disabled Children, and Binh Minh Special School - Dong Anh.

The association has organized five specialized vocational training classes, attracting over 100 disabled children. These classes include: acupressure and massage (for 18 visually impaired students from Nguyen Dinh Chieu Primary School), skincare and baking (for 40 students from Xa Dan Primary School and Binh Minh Elementary School), fabric flower making (for 30 children from Thanh Tri School for Children with Disabilities), and sewing (for 9 hearing-impaired students from Xa Dan Primary School).

Notably, the Association visited and presented gifts to disabled children with over 3,000 gifts (worth over 900 million VND) on holidays, Tet, Mid-Autumn Festival 2025, and International Children's Day (June 1st). The Association also successfully organized meaningful cultural exchange activities such as a fashion show for people with disabilities and an exhibition of paintings by hearing-impaired children.
