At the Conference, representatives of central and local press agencies were informed about the implementation of Directive No. 35-CT/TW dated June 14, 2024 of the Politburo on Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; information on human rights work in the third quarter of 2024; the implementation of the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households in the province in the first 9 months of 2024; results of the organization of the 15th "Through the Viet Bac Heritage Sites" Tourism Program - Bac Kan in 2024 associated with a number of activities celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Bac Kan province (August 24, 1949 - August 24, 2024).

Also at the Conference, the Department of Planning and Investment provided information on licensed and currently operating mineral exploitation and processing projects in the province; the Department of Natural Resources and Environment provided information on the situation of mineral processing companies lacking raw materials for processing but the sale of raw ores and minerals outside the area is still taking place. In addition, the units provided information on the implementation status, difficulties and obstacles in site clearance, compensation and resettlement support for the implementation of the Cho Moi - Bac Kan Expressway Project; the situation of landslides and damage caused by landslides on the road from Bac Kan city to Ba Be Lake and the Quang Khe - Khang Ninh road; damage caused by the impact of storm No. 3 and the results of natural disaster prevention and control work in the province in the recent past.
