With the theme of "Year of Youth Volunteers", in the first 6 months of the year, the Youth Union at all levels commended 1,590 outstanding young people and 850 typical groups in studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings; organized 7,692 revolutionary traditioneducation activities attracting 921,219 union members and young people to participate; published more than 5,180 articles about typical examples and good people; organized 1,076 propaganda, dissemination and legal education activities attracting 279,835 union members and young people to participate. At the same time, effectively organized many peak volunteer activities, regular volunteer activities, on-site volunteer activities, volunteer activities by target group, in new rural construction areas, especially difficult areas, border areas, and islands. Units in the cluster have deployed and organized many programs, projects, tasks, and volunteer youth models with a total budget of more than 60 billion VND, bringing in a total benefit value of nearly 10 billion VND, implementing 964 youth projects with a total value of 20 billion VND, and planting 406,550 new trees.
Conference on Youth Union work and youth movement in the first 6 months of 2024, South Central Coast Cluster.
Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, acknowledged and highly appreciated the Youth Union work and the youth movement in the South Central Coast cluster, which have made remarkable progress. In the first 6 months of 2024, the Youth Union of the units in the South Central Coast cluster proactively developed a work program closely following the key directives of the Central Youth Union, local Party committees and authorities; implemented the annual work theme, concretized according to the requirements and conditions of the locality and unit; selected specific, key, appropriate and practical tasks to implement, thereby actively contributing to the implementation of political tasks, socio-economic development results and ensuring national defense and security of each locality and unit.
Comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council spoke at the conference.
Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Tuong Lam, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, acknowledged and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility of the units. In the coming time, the units in the South Central Coast Cluster need to pay attention to a number of issues such as: the provinces in the cluster need to closely follow the working theme for 2024; in propaganda and education work, continue to focus on deploying for cadres, union members, and youth to research, study, thoroughly grasp, propagate and organize the implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; deploying the revolutionary action movement, it is necessary to increase efficiency, be more proactive and creative in designing programs, organizing activities, especially solutions to help and promote youth to start businesses, establish businesses, perform professional tasks, boost production, business, participate in socio -economic development in new conditions; further improve the quantity and quality of outstanding union members to be introduced to the Party for consideration and admission.

* Previously, comrade Nguyen Tuong Lam, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Permanent Deputy Chairman of the National Committee on Vietnamese Youth visited Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Thieu in Phuong Hai commune (Ninh Hai). In addition, the delegation attended the inauguration and handover ceremony of the "Bright - green - clean - beautiful - safe youth road" project in Tan Hai commune (Ninh Hai). The project was supported by the Youth Unions of the provinces and cities of the South Central Coast cluster with a value of 40 million VND; donated equipment to the Youth Project serving digital transformation in My Binh ward (Phan Rang - Thap Cham city).
