The conference was organized in a combination of in-person and online formats connecting to 240 locations in the province with about 16,700 delegates attending.
The 1st Congress of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, demonstrates the determination and aspiration to rise up and successfully achieve the goal that by 2030, Ca Mau will become a growth pole of the Mekong Delta region, a center of rapid, sustainable, comprehensive development, confidently entering a new era of development with the whole country.
Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Ho Thanh Thuy recognized and analyzed the important role, thoroughly grasped the breakthroughs, tasks, and key solutions in the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system; identified this as a key task; promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc in the context of the country entering a new development stage with many positive changes, creating opportunities for Ca Mau to make a breakthrough.

At the conference, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Huynh Quoc Viet emphasized the potentials, advantages as well as advantages, difficulties, opportunities and challenges of Ca Mau province in the 2025 - 2030 term, especially the advantages of the province will be promoted more strongly such as: Marine economy ; clean agriculture; eco-tourism, spiritual tourism, cultural and historical traditions; at the same time, the economic development of the province will have breakthroughs with the appearance of new factors, which is the opportunity to become a growth pole of the Mekong Delta, as a basis to strive to complete the GRDP growth target of over 10%/year.

Deploying the topic at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Huynh Quoc Viet clarified the new points and breakthrough orientations for the 2025 - 2030 term, creating unity in perception and action throughout the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front and mass organizations in the province to correctly understand and highly unify the ideology, goals and development tasks of the province in the new period; at the same time, he hoped that each cadre and party member would grasp the main viewpoints, goals, tasks and solutions set out in the Resolution. Thereby, drawing lessons, transforming orientations and projects into specific action programs and plans suitable to the functions and tasks of each agency and unit, and soon bringing the Resolution into life.
