
Attending the conference were Mr. Vo Thanh Huy, Deputy Director of Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Mr. Pham Xuan Tai, Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports; along with representatives of theaters, performing arts centers, private museums and leaders of commune and ward authorities of the two localities.

At the meeting, Mr. Vo Thanh Huy, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province informed: After the merger, Lam Dong is a convergence of 49 ethnic groups living together, creating a diverse and unique cultural treasure. The province has implemented many models combining culture with tourism such as: tours to experience the cultural space of ethnic minorities, performing folk songs - folk dances - traditional cuisine , visiting traditional craft villages.

In the eastern part of Lam Dong province alone, there are more than 300 historical - cultural relics and scenic spots that have been classified, assessed and included in the research and protection list by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Among them, many relics and scenic spots have become indispensable destinations in cultural, spiritual and ecological tourism tours and routes such as: Truong Duc Thanh relic, Po Sah Inư tower, Thuy Tu temple, Suoi Tien scenic spot, Doi Cat Bay, Co Thach pagoda, Bay Mau rock beach, Ong Nam Hai mausoleum, Bau Trang scenic spot... In particular, some places have also been chosen as filming locations for domestic and foreign film crews. In addition, the locality currently has 2 private museums with many contributions to heritage education and preservation of traditional craft village culture.


At the conference, representatives of units in the fields of culture, art, sports and private museums of the two localities shared experiences in management, revenue exploitation, training of local human resources, combining entertainment and economic development. The exchange focused on the model of developing local cultural industries, promotion and communication of performing arts, heritage, cultural and tourism creative spaces, as well as strengthening industry linkages, regional linkages and international cooperation.

Through the shared content, Mr. Pham Xuan Tai, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Hanoi City, said: Each area of Lam Dong has its own strengths, including many festivals of ethnic minorities, traditional crafts that have been restored, contributing to the preservation of cultural heritage and being a unique tourism product that attracts tourists. Developing tourism associated with culture not only helps improve the material and spiritual life of the people, but also contributes to building the image of a dynamic, friendly and rich Lam Dong in the integration process.
The sharing and exchange between units will help art troupes and traditional craft villages in Hanoi learn from experience and create connections to develop the cultural industries of the two localities sustainably.

According to the plan, the working delegation of the Department of Culture and Sports of Hanoi City will visit a number of historical and cultural sites in the eastern region of Lam Dong province from October 23 to 25, 2025.
