Online conference to give opinions on draft regulations on land use fees and land rents

On the afternoon of May 20, Comrade Tran Hong Ha, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister chaired an online conference with ministries, branches and localities to discuss and give opinions on the draft Decree regulating land use fees and land rents; draft Decree regulating land prices; report on Decree No. 12/2024/ND-CP dated February 5, 2024 of the Government. Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended at the Thai Binh bridge.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha emphasized that the 2024 Land Law, recently passed by the National Assembly , has changed contents related to land finance and assigned the Government to develop detailed regulations on this important content. Therefore, the Government has developed a draft Decree regulating land use fees and land rents.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested ministries, branches and localities to carefully study the draft and related regulations, focus on discussing and contributing opinions to the draft so that the Decree, after being promulgated, will be suitable to the actual situation, promote the effectiveness of the 2024 Land Law, and contribute to the country's development.
At the conference, ministries, branches and localities focused on discussing a number of contents in the draft Decree regulating land use fees and land rent; the draft Decree regulating land prices. Especially the contents related to the calculation of land use fees and land rent when changing planning; regulations, principles and cases of exemption and reduction of land use fees and land rent; annual land rent payment unit prices; procedures for developing land price lists and adjusting, amending and supplementing annual land price lists, etc. These are important contributions for the Government to complete the draft decrees before promulgation.
