In Bac Ninh, all levels, sectors and localities have implemented Directive No. 36 and the Government's programs on drug prevention, control and rehabilitation with many positive results: The Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee have led and directed resolutely, proposed many policies, solutions and new mechanisms to improve the effectiveness of drug prevention, control and rehabilitation. From January 15, 2019 to June 15, 2024, the whole province detected and arrested more than 3,100 cases, more than 5,900 subjects related to drugs; Seized 27.3 kg of heroin, 137 kg of synthetic drugs, 8.19 kg of opium poppy and 51 kg of marijuana; Prosecuted more than 2,800 cases, more than 3,000 defendants.
At the Conference, delegates exchanged and discussed to evaluate the achieved results, especially the difficulties and obstacles in the face of the complicated drug crime situation, and at the same time proposed solutions to effectively implement the work of preventing, combating and controlling drugs in the coming time.
