According to journalist and screenwriter Tran Thanh Hung, the book Quang Duc Phu Yen Pottery was written with the hope of continuing to help domestic and foreign ceramic collectors and researchers have more information about ceramic lines in the South Central region, including the lost Quang Duc pottery line - a typical cultural heritage in the homeland of Phu Yen.

This is the third book by journalist - screenwriter Tran Thanh Hung and the second book about ceramics he has written, after the book " Central South Ceramics" written with researcher Nguyen Dinh Chuc, released in 2021, and was awarded the second prize B by the Vietnam Folk Arts Association (there was no first prize).

Journalist - screenwriter Tran Thanh Hung was born in 1969, from An Nghiep commune, Tuy An district, a member of the Vietnam Journalists Association, the Vietnam Cinema Association, and the Vietnam Folk Arts Association. As a skilled and passionate journalist - screenwriter - director, he has been awarded a number of gold medals, silver medals, and certificates of merit from the National Television Festival, the Military Television Festival, the International Sports Film and Television Festival, and the National Environmental Film Festival; won many high prizes at film scriptwriting competitions organized by the Department of Cinema, awards from the National Committee of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, the Phu Yen Province Literature and Arts Association, and national press awards...

Journalist - screenwriter Tran Thanh Hung used to hold the positions of Deputy Director of VTV Phu Yen, Deputy Director of VTV Nha Trang, Director of the Department of Information and Communications, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, and is currently the Standing Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.
