Binh Thuan Journalists Association is among 28 outstanding national collectives awarded by the Vietnam Journalists Association.

BTO-On April 21 in Hanoi, the Vietnam Journalists Association held a conference to summarize emulation work in 2024.

Since 2021, thousands of journalistic works supported through the program have had a positive impact on the professional community, contributing to improving the depth, quality and reach of mainstream journalism. A total budget of more than 42 billion VND has been allocated to all levels of the Central and local Associations and members, supporting more than 9,500 journalists.

However, the progress of budget allocation in some localities is still slow, disbursement is uneven, affecting the initiative of the Association at all levels. The conference agreed to propose building a program for the period 2026-2030 with a flexible approach, linked to the practice of administrative restructuring and the requirements of developing journalism in the new context.

Within the framework of the conference, the Vietnam Journalists Association also highly appreciated the effectiveness of emulation movements in 2024. Operational models associated with political tasks, innovation in propaganda work, and honoring advanced models have created a vibrant emulation atmosphere from the Central to the grassroots levels.

Collectives and individuals received certificates of merit from the Vietnam Journalists Association.

In recognition of these efforts, the Association decided to award Emulation Flags to 21 groups, certificates of merit to 28 groups and 51 individuals who have made many contributions to the profession and organization of the Association. Binh Thuan Journalists Association is honored to be one of 28 outstanding groups nationwide to receive a certificate of merit from the Vietnam Journalists Association - recognizing their positive, responsible and creative contributions to the Association's work and professional activities in 2024.
