Thai Nguyen Women Entrepreneurs Association: Joining hands to develop socio-economy, creating sustainable values

In recent years, the team of female entrepreneurs in Thai Nguyen province has increasingly affirmed its important role in socio-economic development, contributing to GRDP growth, creating stable jobs and promoting economic restructuring towards sustainability. With the spirit of innovation, courage and responsibility, women-owned enterprises have become a positive force, accompanying the province in realizing development goals, improving competitiveness and caring for social security.

Representatives of the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association visited and encouraged members and businesses affected by the recent storm No. 11.

The Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association currently has over 300 members who are business owners, cooperatives and production and business establishments in many fields such as: trade, services, supporting industry, high-tech agriculture , OCOP and export.

Closely following the province's development orientation for the 2020-2025 period, with a vision to 2030, the Association has implemented many practical activities to improve the internal capacity of enterprises, build a healthy business environment, promote innovative startups and spread entrepreneurial culture.

In the new development orientation, digital transformation is identified by the Association as a key task to improve competitiveness, optimize costs and meet the trend of the digital economy . Ms. Vu Thi Van, Vice President and General Secretary of the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association, affirmed: Digital transformation is no longer a trend, but a mandatory path. The Association must go ahead so that members are not left behind.

From that orientation, the Association has proactively coordinated with departments and branches, inviting experts to open training courses and provide in-depth training for businesses to apply technology in management, production, marketing, e-commerce and customer care. Ms. Vu Thi Van further emphasized: We are committed to accompanying - leading the way - promoting digital transformation. The goal is to optimize costs, increase competitiveness and build the image of Thai Nguyen female entrepreneurs in the new era: brave, innovative and pioneering.

Along with digital transformation, female business leaders also focus on developing towards environmental protection and building sustainable brands. In the agricultural sector, organic production and energy-saving models are being implemented by many members, contributing to the implementation of the province's green growth goals.

According to preliminary statistics, with over 1,000 hectares of tea cultivated according to organic and VietGAP standards, many of which are directly invested in by female entrepreneurs, it helps increase income for tea growers by 20-30% compared to traditional farming methods.

Ms. Dao Thanh Hao, Director of Hao Dat Tea Cooperative, shared: Preserving the soul of Tan Cuong tea is the responsibility of every craftsperson. From the traditional experience of our ancestors, we combine science and apply one-way yeast killing technology to preserve the green color, the aroma of young rice and the characteristic mild astringency. The goal is to build a worthy brand, so that Tan Cuong tea not only preserves the value of its homeland but also reaches out to the large market, bringing a better life to tea growers.

Along with the above activities, Thai Nguyen Women Entrepreneurs Association also proactively participates in investment promotion programs, seminars and workshops connecting supply and demand with FDI enterprises, including partners from Korea, Japan and Europe, helping members access market information, international standards and strategic cooperation opportunities. These activities not only open up new business opportunities but also help members closely connect with sustainable development and global integration.

Not only innovating production and business methods, the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association also pays special attention to spreading humanistic values ​​through social security activities. When storm No. 11 caused heavy damage to Thai Nguyen, the spirit of mutual love was strongly promoted.

Along with that, activities connecting supply and demand, promoting trade, cooperating with domestic and foreign enterprises, and linking with FDI enterprises continue to be expanded, creating more opportunities for members to deeply integrate into regional and global value chains.

Entering the 2025-2030 period, facing the requirements of rapid and sustainable development, the province's female entrepreneurs are determined to continue to innovate their thinking, improve their management capacity, promote digital transformation - green transformation, actively respond to the province's development programs, build corporate culture, build a team of entrepreneurs with intelligence, responsibility and aspiration to contribute.
