Scientific workshop “Green transformation - Opportunities and solutions for Phu Tho province”

On June 24, the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations in collaboration with Hung Vuong University organized a scientific workshop with the theme "Green transformation - Opportunities and solutions for Phu Tho province".

The workshop attracted nearly 60 experts, scientists, and managers inside and outside the province in the fields of science and technology, digital economy , agriculture, tourism, renewable energy, etc.

At the workshop, delegates focused on analyzing and evaluating the current status of green development in Phu Tho province; clearly identifying the potential and advantages of natural ecology, organic agriculture , and young human resources; and at the same time pointing out challenges in policy mechanisms, technology, investment capital, and social awareness. The presentations at the workshop also proposed solutions to promote green transformation associated with the actual conditions of the province such as: Building green agricultural raw material areas associated with value chains; developing environmentally friendly community tourism models; applying digital transformation in urban and resource management...

The workshop is an opportunity for scientists, experts, managers and businesses to assess the current situation, share international experiences, suggest policy directions and feasible solutions to promote the green transition in Phu Tho province and other provinces in the Northern midland and mountainous region - where there is a lot of potential, but is also suffering from many impacts of natural disasters, environment and economic fluctuations. Through the workshop, research results and proposals will be conveyed to authorities, businesses and the community for implementation into practice.
