
Attending the workshop were representatives of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Vietnam Tourism Association; leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Tourism of provinces and cities; leaders of universities, institutes, academies, tourism training centers; experts, scientists from training institutions, businesses, organizations at home and abroad; lecturers and students of Hanoi University of Culture...
On the side of Ninh Binh province, attending the workshop was comrade Bui Van Manh, Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Tourism .

At the workshop, delegates focused on exchanging and discussing the following contents: The role of cultural industry in sustainable tourism development in Vietnam; Linking the value chain of cultural and tourism industries in the context of international integration; Exploiting indigenous cultural resources to build creative tourism products; Preserving cultural heritage and developing sustainable tourism; Developing high-quality cultural and tourism human resources in the digital age; The role of performing arts, cinema and fashion in attracting international tourists; Developing the night-time economy from the perspective of the culture and tourism industry; International cooperation in developing cultural and tourism industries in Vietnam...

The workshop was held in the context that Vietnam has just been honored by the World Travel Awards in two important categories: “Asia's Leading Destination 2025” and “Asia's Leading Heritage Destination 2025”. These achievements affirm Vietnam's increasingly solid international position on the world tourism map, while highlighting the urgent need to exploit cultural industries associated with sustainable tourism development in line with the orientation of Vietnam's tourism development to 2030.

The workshop creates a forum for academic exchange and practical discussion on the role of cultural industries in sustainable tourism development. The program is expected to propose practical solutions to promote the role of cultural industries in tourism development, meet the increasing needs and demands of the tourism market, improve the effectiveness of tourism human resource training, especially cultural tourism. Thereby contributing to the orientation of Vietnam's sustainable cultural and tourism development strategy in the period of international integration.
