International Scientific Conference "Algebraic Geometry - Arithmetic"

On the morning of June 2, Khanh Hoa University in collaboration with the Institute of Mathematics (under the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology) opened the international scientific conference "Algebraic Geometry - Arithmetic".

The conference received 21 reports from scientists from 9 countries and territories, including: Japan, the US, China, Korea, France, Italy, Vietnam, Taiwan (China), Germany. Taking place from June 2 to 6, the conference was organized into 8 sub-committee sessions. Accordingly, more than 60 domestic and foreign scientists, Vietnamese graduate students and postgraduate students focused on introducing, exchanging and discussing the latest results in the field of "Algebraic Geometry - Arithmetic" from Vietnamese and international scientists. This is a central research field of Pure Mathematics with many applications in other fields, especially in Physics and Informatics (cryptography theory). Many Fields Medals were awarded to research works in this field, including those of Professor Ngo Bao Chau.

This is an opportunity for scientists to share research, contribute to promoting international cooperation in the field of Mathematics and affirm the important role of Mathematics in the development of science and technology today.
