The contest is an opportunity for lecturers to share, learn experiences, improve skills and methods, and at the same time, it is a basis for the Center to evaluate the actual qualifications, capacity and teaching methods of the teaching staff, promptly draw experience to correct limitations, contributing to improving the quality of teaching national defense and security education in the coming time.

To participate in the contest, candidates must go through 3 parts: General knowledge; regulations; teaching practice. The general knowledge part is organized in the form of multiple choice questions on the Party's guidelines and viewpoints, the State's policies and laws on national defense and security; national defense and security education; professional knowledge; skills in handling pedagogical situations when teaching the subject of national defense and security education.

Candidates apply information technology in teaching theory.

In the command exam, candidates answer questions about troop management regulations and practice command movements. The practical teaching exam is divided into 2 groups: Lecturers teaching the subjects of the National Defense and Security Policy of the Communist Party of Vietnam , national defense and security work; general military teaching, infantry combat techniques and tactics.

During the exam, the lecturers were calm, confident, had a firm grasp of the content, followed the regulations well and completed the exam well according to plan. The application of information technology in teaching theory was flexibly applied by the lecturers, creating liveliness and attracting listeners. In the exam content of the team command without guns, the lecturers performed the movements skillfully, spoke loudly and clearly, and acted in accordance with the regulations.

At the end of the contest, 100% of the contestants were recognized as excellent teachers at the Center level; The Organizing Committee awarded 3 first, second and third prizes to 3 contestants with high achievements.
