Many students of the University of Education (Hue University) suddenly had stomachaches and fatigue, suspected to be due to food poisoning... and had to be hospitalized after breakfast at the Center for National Defense and Security Education (also under Hue University).

On the afternoon of September 11, the leaders of the University of Education (Hue University) said they had received information that many students of the school showed signs of food poisoning and had to be hospitalized after having breakfast at the Center for National Defense and Security Education .

Initially, it was known that 5 students of Hue University of Education who were studying national defense and security education here had stomachaches, vomiting, and fatigue after breakfast at the center.

Immediately afterwards, the students were taken to Huong Thuy Medical Center for emergency treatment, due to suspected food poisoning.

It is known that these students enrolled in the national defense and security education course at the center as boarding students.

The students' accommodation and living arrangements are taken care of by the center's logistics department, similar to a military environment.

"We immediately sent school staff to the medical center to visit and check the health of the students. Their safety must be the top priority.

We will work with the National Defense and Security Center to clarify the cause of the incident that caused the students to be hospitalized." Ms. Do Thi Xuan Dung, Vice Director of Hue University, said she will work with the National Defense and Security Education Center immediately to clarify the incident.
