On the afternoon of November 8, a source from the Health and Life Newspaper said that as of 4:00 p.m. on November 8, there were 162 suspected cases of food poisoning after eating Ms. B's Toad Bread at Branch 1 Nguyen Thai Son and Branch 2 Le Quang Dinh. The patients were admitted to 6 hospitals, specifically:
Military Hospital 175 received 100 cases, all of whom ate bread at the branch on 1 Nguyen Thai Son. Of these, 13 cases are being treated as inpatients, and 87 cases have been discharged for outpatient treatment.

Ms. B's Banh Mi Toad Shop has stopped operating.
Tam Anh General Hospital received 20 cases. Of these, 19 cases ate bread at branch 1 Nguyen Thai Son and 1 case at branch 2 Le Quang Dinh. Currently, 13 cases are still being treated as inpatients (1 case is in ICU).
Gia Dinh People's Hospital received 36 cases. Of which, 14 cases ate bread from branch 1 Nguyen Thai Son and 8 cases ate bread from branch 2 Le Quang Dinh, the remaining 14 cases are unknown. Currently, 24 cases are being treated as inpatients. There is 01 case admitted to the hospital on November 5, blood culture positive for Salmonella.
Binh Dan Hospital received 01 case of eating bread from facility 1 Nguyen Thai Son and is currently receiving inpatient treatment.
My Duc Hospital (Tan Binh) received 01 case of eating bread at branch 1 Nguyen Thai Son and is currently receiving inpatient treatment.
Becamex International Hospital received 05 cases of eating bread at branch 1 Nguyen Thai Son, all are being treated as inpatients.
Notably, there was 1 patient who had to be transferred to the Intensive Care - Anti-Poison Department (ICU) at Tam Anh General Hospital and 1 pregnant woman born in 1997, 34 weeks and 2 days pregnant, was threatened with premature birth at My Duc Hospital.
Most cases were hospitalized with fever, vomiting, abdominal pain, and repeated diarrhea.
It is known that on November 7, the inspection team of the People's Committee of Hanh Thong Ward inspected and sealed the food cabinets of Ms. B's Toad Bread establishment (establishment 1 Nguyen Thai Son) to serve the verification and investigation of the cause of the incident. At the time of the inspection, the shop had stopped operating.
The Le Quang Dinh branch at 2 also closed on the morning of January 7. It is known that the sandwich shop is just a pushcart, selling on the sidewalk.
