Farmers' Association members contribute nearly 52 billion VND to build new rural areas

Implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, recently, cadres and farmer members in the province have actively joined hands to carry out many specific projects and tasks, contributing to changing the face of the countryside.

Accordingly, from 2020 to present, the Association has mobilized cadres, members and farmers to contribute nearly 52 billion VND and over 64,400 working days, donating more than 268,700 ^m2 of land to upgrade and renew rural roads and civil works; participating in planting nearly 100,000 trees scattered throughout the province; building 187 new models of farmers participating in environmental protection.

The Association has also focused on propagating and guiding members and farmers to apply scientific and technological advances in production associated with building new rural areas in a modern direction; changing awareness and approaches to agricultural commodity production in the context of international integration and climate change; promoting agricultural vocational training for members and farmers; organizing visits for officials and farmer members to study effective economic models in order to change the way of thinking and working, creating products with high productivity, quality and product prices, contributing to increasing income and improving farmers' lives.

At the same time, the association at all levels coordinated to propagate and guide farmer members to participate in implementing village, hamlet, and cultural residential group conventions, and to practice a civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals, and festivals; mobilized 175,500 farmer households to register as cultural families, of which 156,195 households met the cultural family standards.
