On June 12, the National Assembly voted to pass a resolution on the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units in 2025, merging 63 provinces and cities into 34 localities. This is the most extensive arrangement of provincial-level administration ever.

This resolution is considered a historic milestone in the arrangement of the provincial administrative apparatus, expected to open a new phase in organizing the two-level local government system in a more modern, flexible and effective direction, while creating conditions for new regions to be competitive and develop sustainably in the long term.

Immediately after the resolution was passed and took effect, on June 13, SGGP Newspaper in coordination with the Center for Geospatial Data Infrastructure (Department of Surveying, Mapping and Geographic Information of Vietnam - Ministry of Agriculture and Environment ) respectfully sent readers the latest Administrative Map of Vietnam (A2 size), printed with SGGP Newspaper published on June 13.

The map fully reflects the new administrative system of 34 provinces and centrally-run cities. This is a visual, practical document that helps officials, people, and organizations look up, use in learning, researching, managing, and updating accurate administrative information.
