Van Lang commune was newly established on the basis of merging Bac Viet, Tan Tac, Thanh Hoa and Bac La communes of the old Van Lang district. Currently, Van Lang commune has nearly 5,077 people of working age, accounting for about 66.2% of the population. After implementing the two-level local government, the People's Committee of Van Lang commune has actively coordinated with agencies and units to open vocational training classes, promote workers to work at companies and enterprises, and at the same time create conditions for workers to access many new job opportunities. However, facing new requirements of the labor market, workers need to have access to more complete information about training professions, recruitment needs of enterprises, domestic job opportunities and labor export.
Organizing the festival will help students, union members and young people have the right orientation in choosing their own path to establish a career; at the same time, workers in the commune and neighboring communes will have their legitimate needs for jobs, vocational training or labor export resolved, thereby increasing their income, stabilizing their lives, contributing to the goal of sustainable poverty reduction.
At the festival, students and workers were introduced to job positions, majors and occupations suitable to each person's strengths by businesses, recruitment units and vocational training institutions, and introduced to opportunities for exporting labor to high-income markets, in order to contribute to job creation, increase income and improve living standards. At the same time, they directly experienced booths, participated in interviews and registered for recruitment with companies, businesses and vocational training institutions right at the festival. At the same time, workers were informed and disseminated about policies to support loans to solve employment, policies to support working under contracts abroad, social insurance policies, unemployment insurance, vocational training support policies according to national target programs...
During the program, representatives of Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank) - Lang Son Branch presented 20 gifts with a total value of 10 million VND to poor households and households affected by storms No. 10 and 11 in Van Lang commune.
At the festival, about 480 people received direct consultation, about 180 people registered to find jobs; about 75 people registered for probation and preliminary recruitment.
