Ms. Le Thi Thuy Dung, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Can Tho City, said that up to now, the department has closely coordinated to carefully prepare the conditions for organizing the 2025 high school graduation exam in terms of disease prevention, food safety and hygiene, ensuring electricity supply, security and order, fire prevention and fighting, and developing plans to handle unusual situations to ensure safety for the exam.

The total number of candidates registered for the 2025 high school graduation exam in Can Tho is 13,776. Of which, 459 candidates took the exam under the 2006 program, 13,317 candidates took the exam under the 2018 program (11,566 candidates are studying in grade 12 of high school, 1,349 candidates are studying in grade 12 of continuingeducation , 402 candidates have graduated from free school). The city plans to organize 26 official exam sites with 593 exam rooms, and arrange 9 backup exam sites.

In order to prepare well for the exam, the Department of Education and Training of Can Tho City organized the 2025 high school graduation exam conference (first time) to deploy the exam regulations, noting new points in the exam to high school education management officials, leaders of the Department of Education and Training, civil servants of departments under the department. Educational institutions also deployed the exam regulations to all officials, students, grade 12 students and parents.

At this time, most schools have coordinated with agencies, organizations, and localities to mobilize social resources to support meals, drinking water, learning tools, and scholarships for disadvantaged students. Currently, 294 students have received scholarships worth more than 300 million VND.

For independent candidates, Can Tho City Youth Union will coordinate with relevant agencies and organizations to plan the arrangement of youth volunteers to help and guide candidates to find cheap accommodation, and organize cheap shuttle buses for candidates and their families. At the examination sites, the youth union members will support, advise, and help candidates with necessary tools (pencils, rulers, compasses), and guide parents and candidates on where to rest, eat, etc.

Ms. Le Thi Thuy Dung added that the Department of Education and Training of Can Tho City has advised the City People's Committee to issue an official dispatch on the inspection and review of preparations for the 2025 high school graduation exam. Accordingly, the department has organized 3 inspection teams to ensure conditions for organizing the exam. Up to now, the Department of Education and Training has basically prepared all conditions for organizing the exam according to the exam regulations.
