Students of Nguyen Hue High School are passionate about learning about the heroic tradition of the Vietnam People's Army.
Attending the ceremony were leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Home Affairs , Provincial Museum, Provincial Historical Archives Center and many teachers and students of Nguyen Hue High School, Hoa Ban Kindergarten, Yen Bai city.
The thematic exhibition “Heroic Army - Glorious Tradition” introduces more than 150 images, documents and artifacts reflecting the military-civilian relationship in the cause of national liberation and protection of the Fatherland; the history of the founding day of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944); the process of building, maturing, fighting and winning of the Vietnam People's Army over the past 80 years associated with the glorious revolutionary fighting tradition of the Communist Party of Vietnam as well as the great victories in the cause of national liberation, national reunification, protection of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and fulfillment of international obligations; affirming the mettle of the Vietnam People's Army - A revolutionary army, born from the People, fighting for the People, a special political force, an absolutely loyal and trustworthy fighting force of the Party, State and People.
In particular, images, documents and artifacts of the Yen Bai Provincial Armed Forces since its establishment have been collected and preserved by the Yen Bai Provincial Museum and the Archives Center and are being introduced to the public for the first time.
The exhibition " Heroic Army - Glorious Tradition " of Yen Bai Provincial Museum and Provincial Historical Archives Center is a cultural and historical event to honor and pay tribute to heroic martyrs, generations of cadres and soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army who have devoted and sacrificed to create glorious feats, glorifying the history of building and defending the country of the nation. This is also an opportunity to educate today's young generation about the revolutionary tradition, the spirit of patriotism, and the indomitable heroism of their ancestors, helping students understand, be proud of and appreciate the heroic history of the nation, nurturing patriotism and a sense of responsibility towards the Fatherland.
Tran Phuong Uyen - Student of class 11D1, Nguyen Hue High School, emotionally shared: "Today, being here, I feel proud, moved and grateful to the generations of fathers and grandfathers who shed blood and sacrificed, bravely fought for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland so that we can have a peaceful life today. We - the generations of students today promise to strive our best, try to study well to contribute to the cause of building the country".
The thematic exhibition will take place from December 17 to December 25, 2024.
