More than 200 universities announced their minimum scores, the highest is 25 points, the lowest is 14 points.

On the evening of July 23, the Diplomatic Academy announced the threshold to ensure input quality in 2025 (floor score) with two points of 22 and 25, according to high school graduation exam scores.

Of which, the Diplomatic Academy takes a floor score of 22 points with 12 admission combinations, including D01 (math, literature, English), D03 (math, literature, French), D04 (math, literature, Chinese), D06 (math, literature, Japanese), A00 (math, physics, chemistry), A01 (math, physics, English), D07 (math, chemistry, English), DD2 (math, literature, Korean), D09 (math, English, history), D10 (math, English, geography), D14 (literature, history, English), D15 (literature, geography, English).

Only group C00 (literature, history, geography) has a floor score of 25 points/30-point scale. This is also the highest floor score in the country at the time of announcement.

The Diplomatic Academy said that the admission combination C00 is 3 points higher than the admission combination D01; the admission combinations with no difference in scores include A00, A01, D01, D03, D04, D06, DD2, D07, D09, D10, D14 and D15.

Previously, in the South, Saigon University also announced the floor score ranging from 17 to 25 points, in which the two majors with the highest floor score were history pedagogy and geography pedagogy; followed by mathematics pedagogy with 24.5 points.

This year, 20 military schools have admission floor scores ranging from 14.5 to 23 points, of which the Military Science Academy has set the floor score for male candidates at 19 points and for female candidates at 23 points.

The Military Technical Academy considers female candidates with 18 points and male candidates with 20 points; the Military Medical Academy sets a common minimum score of 20.5 points.

With the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, Thanh Dong University currently has the lowest floor score - 14 points (except for majors in the health group).

This year, most universities/academies have reduced their minimum scores by 1-3 points compared to last year, and some majors have even reduced their minimum scores by 5 or 7 points compared to last year.

The threshold score for admission based on high school graduation exam scores of some universities/academies in the North is as follows:
