Ho Chi Minh City University of Law has just organized the 3rd ULAW Open Golf Tournament in 2025 on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20). This is a meaningful and practical annual sports and cultural event of the school.
The 3rd ULAW Open Golf Tournament was held at Tan Son Nhat Golf Course, attracting more than 200 golfers.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Dr. Le Truong Son, Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law and Head of the Organizing Committee, said that this year's event is meant to open a series of activities towards 50 years of tradition and 30 years of the name of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law.
"This is also a special occasion for the community of lawyers, those working in the legal field and businessmen to meet, share professional experiences and demonstrate solidarity and social responsibility," Mr. Son emphasized.
This year’s tournament continues to be organized in a competitive format, based on the Vhandicap scoring system. With the participation of nearly 220 golfers, the A, B, C groups for men and the women’s group took place in a very exciting manner.
The 3rd ULAW Open Golf Tournament affirmed its position as one of the meaningful and practical annual sports and cultural events of the school.
As a result of the tournament, the Best Cross title belonged to golfer Nguyen Hai Dan Thanh with a total cross score of 83. Meanwhile, the Hole In One title (recognized when a golfer only makes a single shot and the ball flies straight from the tee point into the hole) belonged to golfer Dao Ngoc Ton.
At the award gala, a former student received a lucky gift of a laptop and donated it to disadvantaged students of the school.
