Over 50 million VND to support families affected by fire

On the morning of May 6, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nam Can district coordinated with the People's Committee of Nam Can town to present support money to households that suffered heavy losses in the fire that occurred on March 28 in Hamlet 1, Nam Can town.

Leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nam Can district and town presented support money to 2 families.

Accordingly, Ms. Duong My Phung's family suffered a total loss of 1 house and Mr. Dao Van Kiem's ​​family suffered a loss of 1 hut containing materials for grocery business, each household was supported with 10 million VND. In addition, the Fatherland Front Committee of Nam Can district and town mobilized the Ca Mau Crab Association to support 20.6 million VND, Nam Can Seafood Import-Export Joint Stock Company supported 5 million VND and benefactors in Tran Van Thoi district supported 5 million VND for Ms. Duong My Phung's family to build a house.

Ms. Duong My Phung said that her family's life is extremely difficult. Every day, both husband and wife sell goods on the street to earn a living and raise two children to go to school. The recent fire left the family completely penniless.
