More than 650 students attended the 8th Southern Summer Camp in 2025 at Hoang Le Kha High School for the Gifted.

Attending the opening ceremony were Director of the Department of Education and Training of Tay Ninh province, Head of the Summer Camp Organizing Committee Nguyen Quang Thai. In his opening speech, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, Deputy Head of the Summer Camp Organizing Committee Ly Thanh Binh said that this is an annual activity of high schools in the region, an academic playground, contributing to fostering and developing professional talents for teachers and students in the system of specialized schools and high schools in the Southern region.

More than 650 students from 29 high schools in the Southern region participate in summer camp

During the Summer Camp, students will compete in Olympic competitions in various subjects, visit historical sites, travel to Tay Ninh, participate in cultural and artistic exchanges, and administrators and teachers will attend seminars.

These activities aim to contribute solutions and good experiences in human resource training, meeting the requirements of regional and international integration.

Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, Deputy Head of the Summer Camp Organizing Committee Ly Thanh Binh delivered the opening speech.

This summer camp is also an opportunity for students to explore the beauty of the South, learn about the history, culture and people of Tay Ninh. Through summer camp activities, students will gain more useful knowledge, practical skills, exchange, learn and strengthen friendships.

Mr. Ly Thanh Binh added that in recent times, Tay Ninh province has increased investment in building facilities and techniques of kindergartens and general schools in the province according to national standards and modernity, creating conditions to improve the quality of education, meeting the requirements of training human resources to serve the economic, cultural and social development of the province.
