First day of school for first graders

From 6:30 am, the yard of Hung Vuong Primary School (Tan Thanh Ward) was bustling with the footsteps of parents and students. The faces of first graders in new uniforms, carrying school bags, followed their parents to school with a mood of both excitement and confusion. Welcoming the children at the gate were the school's Board of Directors, teachers and staff, creating a friendly and close atmosphere.

In the 2025-2026 school year, Hung Vuong Primary School has more than 1,100 students, of which 235 are in grade 1, divided into 5 classes. On the first day of school, teachers do not rush to teach but spend time getting to know each other, chatting, and helping the students quickly overcome their shyness.

Ms. Doan Thi Kim Anh, homeroom teacher of class 1A, shared: “On the first day of school, many students are still worried and shy. We always observe, encourage, and talk to them to make them feel more comfortable and confident. This is an important first step, helping them quickly integrate into the new environment.”

Excitement of senior students

Unlike the confusion of first graders, the atmosphere in high school is filled with excitement. At Ho Thi Ky High School (An Xuyen Ward), 9th and 12th graders arrived early, eager to meet their teachers and friends after the summer vacation, and to prepare themselves for a challenging school year ahead.

In the morning, teachers disseminate regulations and guide learning methods, with special emphasis on senior students who are about to take important exams.
