Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister, Vice Chairman Nong Thi Ha said: Implementing Decision No. 53/QD-TTg dated January 15, 2024 of the Prime Minister promulgating the 2024 Work Program of the Government and the Prime Minister, in which the Government and the Prime Minister assigned the Ethnic Committee to advise and preside over the drafting of the Government's Decree on policies to discover, search for, attract, and promote talents and criteria for identifying talents as ethnic minorities.
The Draft Decree aims to concretize the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws on discovering, searching, attracting, employing, training and fostering ethnic minority talents, contributing to building a team of ethnic minority talents that is increasingly strong in quantity and good in quality, meeting the requirements of the country's socio -economic development in the new period.
According to Deputy Minister and Vice Chairman Nong Thi Ha, the meeting is an opportunity for the Editorial Board and Editorial Team to listen to and absorb comments as a basis for perfecting the draft Decree on policies for discovering, searching, attracting, and promoting talents and criteria for identifying talents as ethnic minorities.
Accordingly, the draft Decree of the Government on the policy of discovering, searching, attracting, and employing talents and criteria for identifying talents who are ethnic minorities was developed by the Committee for Ethnic Minorities, consisting of 06 chapters and 22 articles. The basic contents of the draft Decree include principles, criteria, conditions, competence, selection, recognition and discovery, searching, attracting, and employing talents who are ethnic minorities...
At the meeting, members of the Drafting Committee, Editorial Board, and representatives of ministries and branches highly appreciated the draft Decree developed by the Committee for Ethnic Minorities. Delegates contributed comments on the contents of the draft Decree such as: the authority to develop the Decree, the basis, name, scope, criteria for identifying talents, and the process and policies for discovering, attracting, and promoting talents who are ethnic minorities...
Concluding the meeting, Deputy Minister, Vice Chairman of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities Nong Thi Ha - Head of the Drafting Committee highly appreciated the comments of the delegates and said that the Committee for Ethnic Minorities will absorb and adjust to complete the draft Decree.
The Deputy Minister and Vice Chairman requested the members of the Drafting Committee and Editorial Team to absorb the opinions of the delegates to complete the draft Decree. At the same time, the Deputy Minister and Vice Chairman requested the Department of Organization and Personnel and the Drafting Committee to organize workshops, conduct more comprehensive assessments and complete related procedures to submit to the Prime Minister to have a basis for formulating policy proposals.
Also according to Deputy Minister, Vice Chairman Nong Thi Ha, in the coming time, the Committee for Ethnic Minorities will continue to carefully study, supplement comments, and complete the draft Decree.
