Cooperation and establishment of the European Sovereign Industrial Technology Alliance

Dassault Systèmes has recently partnered with 11 European companies to form the European Sovereign Tech Industry Alliance (ESTIA), a new alliance to promote a sovereign digital future in Europe. ESTIA will officially launch in 2026.

ESTIA is committed to realizing the goal of digital sovereignty by developing a clear legal definition of “sovereign cloud”.

ESTIA was established to support and nurture an EU technology sector capable of innovation, competitiveness and independence.

The ESTIA founders have committed to working with EU stakeholders to realise the goal of digital sovereignty by developing a clear legal definition of “sovereign cloud” as well as promoting strategic public procurement policies to support EU sovereign cloud services as a platform for processing sensitive data for key customers.

ESTIA is committed to building a coordinated approach at European level, thereby proactively promoting the sovereignty of the European Union as well as the development of European technology solutions and digital services in the areas of cloud computing, digital services and technology.
