After graduating from high school, Dinh Thi Tuyet (in Kieu Dai street, Quang Chau ward, Sam Son city) chose to pursue her passion for tailoring. Instead of going to university, the young girl chose to study fashion design in Hanoi to start a career.

After finishing the training course, Dinh Thi Tuyet returned to her hometown and used her family's room to open a tailor shop.

By chance, she saw unique products recycled from old clothes. Dinh Thi Tuyet had the idea to start her business by producing items such as bags, dresses, etc.

At first, she used her old clothes and drew and designed her own handbags and backpacks.

Tuyet said that after her first products were completed, she shared them on social networks and received many compliments and orders. Many customers from far away provinces and cities such as Dong Nai, Dak Lak, Can Tho, Hanoi ... sent old jeans for her to process and recycle into handbags and dresses.

"I have only been working for 3 months but the results are beyond expectations. I receive about 40 orders each month. Most of the products are recycled from old jeans, and they are ordered to make handbags," Tuyet shared.

Tuyet has just completed a dress made from recycled jeans. The young girl shared that, in addition to earning extra income, recycling old clothes also helps reduce environmental pollution and minimize waste in the garment industry.

During the process of recycling old clothes, Tuyet often uses her phone to record the working steps, then edits them into videos and posts them on social media platforms. Thanks to that, Tuyet receives more and more orders every day.

For the past 3 months, in a small room at home, Tuyet has been friends with needles, thread, and a sewing machine every day. The young girl confided that although the work is not hard, it requires creativity to create eye-catching products that are loved by many people.

"On average, I can make 3-4 products a day. I receive a fee of 100,000-150,000 VND for each recycled product. In the future, I will focus on designing handbags with more diverse designs to create a difference and attract more orders," Tuyet shared.
