Hue welcomed more than 160,000 tourists on April 30 and May 1.

According to statistics from the tourism industry, the occupancy rate of accommodation rooms this time reached 98%. On the occasion of April 30 and May 1, many events and activities were organized in Hue city such as: Hue - Culinary Capital Program taking place from April 29 to May 2 at Thuong Bac Park; the exhibition "Tourism space, cultural heritage, scenic spots and traditional handicraft products of Vietnam" taking place from April 27 to May 2 at Hue City Cultural - Cinema Center; the program "Rural market on festive days" responding to National Tourism Year and Hue Festival 2025 at Thanh Toan Tile Bridge community tourism site (Thuy Thanh commune, Huong Thuy town) from April 30 to May 4 along with many other programs and activities.

Director of Hue City Department of Tourism Tran Thi Hoai Tram said that in order to serve the people and tourists during the holidays in a thoughtful and safe manner, Hue Tourism Department has proactively coordinated with relevant agencies to synchronously deploy many solutions and plans to stimulate tourism during the year such as strengthening the work of ensuring security and order, environmental sanitation, food hygiene and safety, controlling service prices, as well as organizing attractive entertainment activities... to meet the sightseeing and relaxation needs of the people and tourists.

In addition, to ensure safety and quality of services for tourists, Hue Department of Tourism has requested tourism businesses and tourist areas/destinations in the area to carefully prepare to welcome tourists during the holidays, improve the quality of services, improve the quality of tourism products, prepare adequate and professional human resources and materials to be ready to welcome visitors to Hue.

In particular, Hue Department of Tourism focuses on ensuring safety for tourists in terms of fire prevention and fighting, food hygiene and safety, transportation, information support, etc.
