Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism strengthens comprehensive inspection of tourism industry in 2025

The plan is implemented to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of tourism service businesses,educational institutions that organize exams and issue certificates of tour guide skills and certificates of tourism operation skills; carry out administrative reforms, raise public awareness; resolutely handle officials who violate, are negative, cause difficulties or cover up for units that do not comply with regulations.

At the same time, raise awareness of state management agencies, investors and managers... about compliance with legal regulations in tourism business and service quality control, rapid, comprehensive and sustainable development.

The inspection also creates a fundamental change in improving professionalism and service quality, ensuring environmental hygiene; building a healthy business environment; raising awareness of civilized behavior, polite and friendly attitude in serving customers for all staff in the tourism industry.

In addition, the thorough inspection plan also demonstrates the determination and strong commitment of the tourism industry in terms of awareness and action in rectifying and improving the quality of tourism services, meeting the requirements of promoting tourism development, towards the national growth target of 8% or more in 2025 in accordance with the spirit of Resolution 25/NQ-CP dated February 5, 2025 of the Government .

Some key tourism development areas to be inspected include: Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Lao Cai, Phu Tho, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Lam Dong, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigned the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to organize specific assigned activities; proactively establish inspection teams to monitor compliance with legal regulations and ensure the quality of travel businesses, tourist accommodation systems, tourism training institutions and tour guide activities. The Departments of Tourism and Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinate with the working group to implement tasks according to plan.
