The 34th Corps summarizes 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 347 of the Central Military Commission.

(GLO)- On May 29, the Party Committee of the 34th Corps held a conference to review 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 347-NQ/QUTW dated May 13, 2015 of the Central Military Commission on improving the quality of research, forecasting and strategic advice on National Defense until 2020 and the following years.

Over the past 10 years, the Party Committee of the Corps has led, directed, and seriously and effectively implemented the resolution; proactively and closely coordinated with local Party committees, authorities, and forces in the area to grasp, research, evaluate, and accurately forecast the situation, promptly advise the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense on effective solutions to handle situations, fight against crime and national defense tasks, and avoid being passive or surprised.

The combat readiness and mobility of the Corps have been improved, meeting the requirements of assigned tasks in the strategic areas of the Central Highlands and Southeast.

In the coming time, the Party Committee of the 34th Corps will continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement Resolution No. 347 to ensure quality, science and timeliness; focus on leading the synchronous and comprehensive implementation of policies and solutions to improve the quality and effectiveness of research, forecasting and strategic defense advice, meeting the requirements of protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.

The 34th Corps continues to closely coordinate with local Party committees, authorities and armed forces to grasp, study, evaluate, and accurately forecast the situation, complete plans and systems of combat documents; improve the quality of training and exercises according to combat plans. In addition, the Corps will also advise the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to properly handle situations related to political security and social order and safety in the stationed areas.
