Regular training, education, and improvement of qualifications

Building a team of union officials is one of the important tasks regularly carried out by women's unions at all levels. It can be said that the Women's Union of Tan Dinh commune has equipped union officials with knowledge, skills and digital capacity with many specific activities. The union organizes training courses to foster grassroots union officials in skills such as: Propaganda, mobilization; organizing and managing branch and club activities; communication skills; capturing and processing information; supporting women in starting a business, accessing capital and transferring science and technology; applying information technology in union activities... Up to now, 100% of grassroots union officials have proficiently used basic software in the union system. According to Ms. Tram Thi Hanh - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, Chairman of the Women's Union of Tan Dinh commune, the work of discovering and creating sources of cadres has always received special attention from the union. Members with prestige, capacity and sense of responsibility are selected for training and introduced to the Party for consideration and admission. In the past 5 years, 15 association officials have been admitted to the Party. Thanks to this method, the association's cadres are increasingly young, qualified, and quickly adapt to new methods of operation.

Over the past 5 years, the association at all levels has built and repaired 459 "Warm Houses of Love"; awarded more than 1,000 means of livelihood, 3,288 scholarships, 306 savings books, 52,714 gifts, 12,000 banh chung and banh tet... to women and children in difficult circumstances with a total value of nearly 100 billion VND.

The union levels also focus on increasing the proportion of officials with educational and professional qualifications. For example, the Executive Committee of the Women's Union of Phan Rang Ward for the 2025-2030 term has 50 members, of which 27 have intermediate, college, university, and postgraduate degrees, and 14 have intermediate and advanced political theory degrees. Having union officials with high educational and professional qualifications helps the union improve the quality of programs and projects, as well as increase access to resources and support policies from all levels and sectors. Thereby, promoting women's development.

Practice in practice

Through the implementation of movements and campaigns, the breakthroughs have helped the union cadres have the conditions to practice, improve their mettle, working methods and ability to mobilize the masses. In particular, the emulation movement "Building dynamic, creative and aspiring Khanh Hoa women"; the campaign "Building a family of 5 no 3 clean contributing to fostering Vietnamese family values" associated with studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh has attracted a large number of cadres, members and women to participate, achieving many practical results.

The grassroots association staff is increasingly mature, proactively grasping the ideological situation and life of members and women; boldly proposing solutions suitable to local conditions. Models such as: "Women's Association 5 no, 3 clean", "Women's group helping each other develop the economy", "Trusted address in the community", along with many activities supporting women to start a business, protect the environment, build new rural areas... have created a lively practical environment for association staff to accumulate experience, improve management skills, propaganda and coordination with departments, branches and organizations.

The association levels have also synchronously deployed digital transformation solutions, increased the use of many software to manage operations; maximized the effectiveness of social networking platforms; supported members and women to participate in digital transformation. Thanks to that, propaganda work has been timely and quick; improved the quality of member management and operation management.

Ms. Nguyen Quynh Nga - Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union said that in recent years, the work of union cadres in the province has had many positive changes. Many women have made efforts to self-study, self-train, boldly innovate working methods, stay close to the grassroots, grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members to carry out practical and effective activities. In the coming time, the union at all levels will continue to organize training courses, foster leadership skills, social mobilization, apply information technology; improve digital capacity and knowledge and skills on international integration for union cadres. At the same time, pay attention to discovering, planning, creating conditions for young cadres and promising female cadres to be trained and mature. The union will strengthen inspection, supervision, and guidance for grassroots cadres to perform their tasks well, contributing to building a strong union organization, meeting the requirements in the new period.
