Responding to the Capital Women's Festival for Peace and Development 2025

(CLO) On March 15, in Hanoi, the Hanoi Women's Union organized the Festival "Capital Women for Peace and Development" in 2025. The program took place with the meaning of spreading the message of peace, love for Hanoi, and the will and aspiration of women to rise up in the new era of the nation.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairwoman of the Hanoi Women's Union Le Kim Anh said that the Festival "Capital Women for Peace and Development" was organized to arouse pride in the tradition of the international women's movement, the glorious tradition of Vietnamese women; the tradition of the thousand-year-old capital, the Hero, the city for peace.

Besides, it spreads the spirit of solidarity, connection, integration and development between Hanoi women and international women, expressing the aspiration for a peaceful and developed world ; honoring the beauty and ingenuity of women in the capital and women of other countries.

“With the extremely meaningful experiences from the Festival program “Capital Women for Peace and Development” in 2025, it will contribute to spreading the message of peace, love for Hanoi, the will and aspiration of women to rise up in the new era of the nation; at the same time, promoting the image of the Capital as a safe, friendly and attractive destination to domestic and international friends”, Ms. Le Kim Anh emphasized.

Within the framework of the program, the 2nd “Healthy and Beautiful Capital Women” Walking Race was organized, attracting nearly 1,000 male and female athletes aged 18-60 and supporters to participate, contributing to further motivating the mass sports movement and physical training following the example of great Uncle Ho.

In addition, the "National Colors" Art Festival took place with the participation of nearly 300 actors, models, officials, women's union members, students of the capital, officials of embassies, members of friendship organizations, contributing to honoring the beauty of ao dai fashion, fashion of ethnic groups in Vietnam and some countries.

On this occasion, the exhibition space displays creative products from traditional craft villages, artisans, entrepreneurs, products from the skillful hands of women in the unique cultural beauty of countries taking place for two days from March 15 to 16.
