Vu Thi Trang and Le Duc Phat won the Vietnam International Series 2025 badminton tournament.

Tennis players Vu Thi Trang and Le Duc Phat competed successfully in the final match held on the evening of November 2, thereby winning the championship of the Vietnam International Series 2025 badminton tournament in Bac Ninh.

Tennis player Vu Thi Trang (ranked 133rd in the world ) has won the Vietnam International Series 2025 badminton tournament for the second time in less than 2 weeks, when she defeated young Thai tennis player Tonrug Saeheng (ranked 246th, 17 years old). Previously, the former No. 1 female tennis player of Vietnam was crowned the Vietnam International Series 2025 in Ninh Binh (October 26).

In the women's singles final, the second seed, Vu Thi Trang, had a good start, winning the first set 21-19. However, the Thai player, with her youth and determination, tied the match 1-1 in a set that was closely fought for each point, winning 21-18.

In set 3, the experience and bravery of the former number 1 tennis player in Vietnam took the initiative, leading the opponent by 3 points at the beginning.

The Vietnamese women's singles representative maintained the lead with 7-3, 14-7 before ending the match with a 21-11 difference. Winning 2-1 (21-19, 18-21, 21-11) against Tonrug Saeheng, Vu Thi Trang won the International Series championship for the second time in 13 days.

Previously, Trang had overcome and met Sausan Dwi Ramadhani (Indonesia) in the semi-finals after 3 sets, and met Malaysian players, Shahidi Shaneesa, Sheng-Chun Huang (Chinese Taipei), Lim Zhi Shin (Malaysia) in rounds 1, 2, 3 with the same score of 2-0.

On the same day, in the men's singles final, tennis player Le Duc Phat (seed number 1) competed against opponent Jewel Angelo Albo (Philippines, seed number 5). Previously, Jewel Angelo Albo was the winner of veteran tennis player Nguyen Tien Minh in the semi-finals.

In the final, Jewel Angelo Albo continued to make things difficult for Duc Phat when he won the first set with a score of 21-15. After the break, Duc Phat was given professional adjustments to regain his composure.

The coach's adjustments paid off and the player won 21-13 in the second set. In the third set, Le Duc Phat continued to beat his opponent with a score of 21-15. At the end of the final match, Le Duc Phat won 2-1 and won the men's singles championship.

Thus, in both men's and women's singles events at the Vietnam International Series 2025 in Bac Ninh , the championship belongs to the host Vietnamese player.
