On the afternoon of November 2, Vu Thi Trang entered the final match of the Felet Vietnam International Series Badminton Tournament, facing Thai opponent Tonrug Saehang.
Tonrug Saehang is only 17 years old and is a promising tennis player from Thailand. Against such a young opponent, Vu Thi Trang has the upper hand in experience but is at a disadvantage in physical strength.
She won 21-19 in the first set, before losing 18-21 in the second set. It seemed like she would run out of steam in the final set, but then Tien Minh's wife exploded impressively, easily beating Tonrug 21-11 in the final set.
This is a very meaningful victory for Vu Thi Trang because the tournament took place right in her hometown of Bac Giang .
The strong cheering from fans helped the 33-year-old tennis player play explosively and strongly, just like when he was at the peak of his career.

So up to the present point of her career, Vu Thi Trang has had 9 women's singles titles in the BWF International Challenge/Series system, and the 13th international title in her career (including doubles).
In the men's singles event, tennis player Le Duc Phat also won the championship after defeating 5th seed Jewel Angelo Albo with a score of 2-1 (15-21, 21-13, 21-15).
