Improving citizen reception skills for officials of 5 wards

On November 3, the Party Committees of 5 wards: Dong Da, Kim Lien, Lang, Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam and O Cho Dua organized a training course on citizen reception skills when implementing the two-level local government model for cadres of 5 wards.

This is the first professional training course jointly organized by 5 wards after the units operated the two-level local government model, to implement the 2025 work program and the Coordination Regulations between the units.

Attending the training course were key members including: Standing Party Committees of 5 wards; leaders, cadres, civil servants of the Party Building Committee, Inspection Committee, Party Committee Office and People's Council & People's Committee Office of 5 wards; representatives of leaders of specialized departments and offices of the People's Committees of 5 wards; especially the citizen reception department of all 5 wards.

At the training session, the reporter was Master Pham Hong Luong, Deputy Head of the Department of Complaints and Denunciations Settlement and Anti-Corruption (School of Inspectorate Cadres) who imparted in-depth knowledge on the latest legal regulations on citizen reception, complaint and denunciation settlement and petition reception.

The latest legal regulations on receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations; procedures, authority and skills for handling complaints, denunciations and reflections within and outside the authority; ways to classify, accept and resolve complaints and denunciations according to administrative level.

The reporter also particularly emphasized the importance of attitude and behavior when interacting with citizens, in order to ensure compliance with the law and improve the effectiveness of state management at the local level.

The training session also helps trainees grasp newly updated documents, content related to receiving petitions, procedures for resolving and handling some practical situations to perform well assigned tasks in the new situation.
