An Lao District organized a conference to propagate and disseminate laws and collect opinions on the Draft Amendment to the 2013 Constitution.

(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the morning of May 20, the People's Committee of An Lao district held a conference to disseminate the Law on Grassroots Democracy and collect opinions from the people, sectors and levels on a number of contents in the Draft Resolution of the National Assembly on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Comrade Nguyen Quoc Thinh, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee delivered the opening speech.

Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Quoc Thinh, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, emphasized the important role of legal dissemination and education in raising awareness and sense of law compliance of officials, civil servants and people. In recent times, this work in the district has been increasingly focused on, seriously and effectively implemented, contributing positively to state management, promoting socio-economic development and building a clean and strong political system.

Representatives of the Department of Justice gave propaganda at the conference.

At the Conference, delegates listened to two main topics: disseminating and popularizing the basic contents of the Law on Grassroots Democracy; and introducing some key contents that need to solicit opinions from the People, agencies and organizations on the Draft Resolution of the National Assembly on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution. This activity has practical significance, contributing to raising legal awareness in the community, while also being associated with the implementation of the 2025 theme of An Lao city and district, focusing on key tasks such as: promoting site clearance, developing industrial parks and clusters, urban areas, digital transformation and building model new rural areas.

Immediately after the Conference, Party committees at all levels and authorities of communes and towns in the district will continue to widely disseminate legal contents to all cadres, party members and people, in order to raise awareness, sense of law compliance and promote the people's mastery at the grassroots level./.
