Chau Thanh District: Giving solidarity houses to poor households in Vinh Kim commune

(ABO) The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chau Thanh district, Tien Giang province, has just coordinated with the government and the Fatherland Front of Vinh Kim commune to organize a handover ceremony of a great solidarity house to Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Luu (born in 1968), a poor household, residing in Vinh Thanh hamlet.

The house is built on an area of ​​120 ^m2 , semi-permanent structure, walls, corrugated iron roof, cement floor.

Vice Chairman of the District Fatherland Front Committee Pham Ngoc Lam took a souvenir photo with delegates and Ms. Luu's family.

The cost of building the house was 120 million VND; of which the district supported 60 million VND, taken from the district's fund for the poor. At the handover ceremony, representatives of the commune and hamlet's sectors and organizations attended to congratulate and present many souvenirs.

It is known that, in order to support the District People's Committee in implementing the emulation movement of the Program to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Chau Thanh district in 2025, since the beginning of the year, the District Fatherland Front has mobilized and built 27 new houses, worth 1.54 billion VND; repaired 6 houses, worth 170 million VND.
