Kim Boi District summarizes the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for the poor

Collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for the poor in Kim Boi district were rewarded.

According to the review results, in the 2024 - 2025 period, the whole district has 449 houses subject to temporary and dilapidated house removal, of which 289 houses need to be rebuilt and 160 houses need to be repaired. The District Steering Committee has directed the members of the Steering Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district to coordinate with the political system of communes and towns to actively participate in the program, from the stage of reviewing subjects to the implementation process; remove obstacles in the process of reviewing, identifying subjects, support conditions, ensuring suitability with practical needs and characteristics of each locality, while ensuring publicity, transparency, democracy, fairness, and objectivity throughout the implementation process; mobilize resources; participate in supervision from the start of construction and construction; coordinate effectively in receiving and allocating capital mobilized for program implementation.

As of June 5, the entire district has basically completed the program, reaching 100% of the plan, with a total implementation cost of nearly 20 billion VND. Of which, over 11.3 billion VND comes from the province's support fund; over 2.5 billion VND from the Fund for the Poor of the district, commune and agencies, units and enterprises; 5.9 billion VND from the National Target Program for Socio -Economic Development of Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas. In addition, the Steering Committees of communes, towns, armed forces, departments, branches and organizations have propagated, mobilized and mobilized over 10,000 working days, worth over 3.2 billion VND to help families dismantle houses, dig foundations, transport materials, etc.

In the coming time, departments, branches and organizations of Kim Boi district will continue to pay attention to and take care of the lives of policy families, families with revolutionary contributions, poor households and near-poor households so that every family can have a prosperous and happy life. The houses handed over not only bring joy to families, but also motivate them to escape poverty sustainably.

At the conference, 21 collectives and 17 individuals with outstanding achievements in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for the poor in the district in the period of 2024 - 2025 were awarded.
