Nha Be District strives to restore and develop the economy

After half a term of promoting the implementation of the goals and tasks of the Resolution of the 12th District Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025, in the spirit of determination, proactiveness, creativity, solidarity and unity, the Standing Committee of Nha Be District Party Committee has focused on timely and comprehensive leadership and direction in all fields and achieved many positive results. In particular, the district's economic sectors have recovered quickly after the Covid-19 pandemic, becoming an important driving force to promote other fields to develop together; culture - society has many innovations, people's quality of life has been significantly improved; national defense - security is ensured and maintained; Party building, government building and mass mobilization work are strengthened and promoted. Specifically, the average annual economic growth rate reached 13.32%, exceeding the target set by the Resolution (12%). Of which, the trade - service sector has an average growth rate of 13.76%; the industry - handicraft sector has an average growth rate of 13.40%.

Since the beginning of the term, in order to create a breakthrough in economic development, the district has focused on restructuring, transforming the economic growth model, planning the development of the market - supermarket - commercial center system. In the period of 2020 - 2023, the system of convenience stores in the district has increased at a fairly rapid rate along with traditional markets and supermarkets to ensure meeting the shopping needs of local people and neighboring areas.

At the same time, the district also regularly organizes dialogues between the government and businesses and investors to introduce and call for investment in key areas and strengths of the district, especially large-scale projects with great potential and high feasibility. Thereby, grasping the desires and requirements of investors to be able to resolve problems and difficulties, creating conditions for businesses and investors to stabilize production and development.

Along with the investment attraction process, the district has focused on directing public investment, mobilizing all resources to develop technical infrastructure and social infrastructure, initially achieving many important results. Investment projects from the budget capital source are all guaranteed in terms of policy. The results of annual public investment capital disbursement basically meet the capital plan assigned by the city.

In addition, with drastic participation, the district has gradually improved the effectiveness and efficiency of planning, land management, construction and environment through specific and transparent reviews and adjustments. Regarding revenue and expenditure, budget management and administration: Estimated total mid-term state budget revenue reached VND 2,948,651 billion, reaching 92% of the estimate (VND 3,205.4 billion). Self-balancing of regular expenditures in the 2020-2022 period is estimated at 18.14%, of which 2022 reached 23.18%. Budget expenditures are strictly ensured, economical and effective.

Leaders of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nha Be district met and had a dialogue with people of Phuoc Kien commune.

In the spirit of maintaining and further promoting the results achieved since the beginning of the term, in the coming time, the Party Executive Committee of Nha Be district will continue to closely follow the programs and plans of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee.
