(BLC) - On September 2, at the District Administrative Center Square, Tan Uyen District solemnly held a flag-raising ceremony to celebrate the 79th National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. This is the first flag-raising ceremony held by the district on this occasion.
Attending and participating in the flag-raising ceremony were leaders of the District Party Committee, People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district, departments, branches, and unions of the district, along with 300 cadres, civil servants, workers, officers and soldiers of the armed forces, students and people in the district.

On September 2, 1945, at Ba Dinh Square, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, solemnly announcing to the world the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Over the past 79 years, under the leadership of the Party, echoing the oath of independence, with the immortal thought "Nothing is more precious than Independence and Freedom", the entire Vietnamese people have united, united as one, united internationally, leading the Vietnamese revolution to victory after victory, liberating the nation, unifying the country, successfully carrying out the renovation process, and steadily advancing towards socialism.
Independence Day has a very important meaning for every Vietnamese citizen, because Independence Day is a symbol of peace , independence and freedom of the nation. Continuing that glorious historical tradition, the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Tan Uyen district are always united, unanimous in building and developing the homeland of Tan Uyen to become more and more beautiful.

Speaking at the flag-raising ceremony, comrade Lo Van Bien - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee highlighted the achievements of the district in economic, cultural, social, security and defense development in the past time. At the same time, he affirmed: Our country and our people have achieved today, thanks to the great contributions of generations of fathers and brothers who were indomitable, resilient and bravely sacrificed for the peace, independence and freedom of the nation.
